Sex offender jailed for failing to tell police he was living on the streets

A sex offender who failed to comply with his notification requirements has been jailed.

Adam Steven McCrystal Baker failed to register as being of no fixed address by a certain date.

Appearing at Southampton Magistrates’ Court, the 30-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.

He also admitted committing the offence during the period of a suspended sentence.

He was jailed for two weeks for the offence, while magistrates imposed his 20 week suspended sentence – meaning a total sentence of 22 weeks.

Baker, of no fixed address, was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £122.
