Pervert caught by four separate paedophile hunter groups trying to meet girls

A man has been jailed after he tried repeatedly to meet young girls he met online.

Ryan Griffiths was caught by four separate paedophile hunting groups PH Balance, Phoenix Predator Hunters, Elite Predator, and Dank Dragon Exposure in Swansea.

He was first confronted in May last year at Amazon in Swansea where he worked following sexual conversations with what he believed to be a girl of just 13.

Griffiths claimed his phone had been hacked and appeared at Swansea Magistrates’ Court.

While out on bail he contacted another girl, 12, on an app aimed at teenagers, but again it was a decoy.

He told her how beautiful she was and his conversation quickly turned sexual and he asked her if she would be his girlfriend.

The third incident came two days after Griffiths’ magistrates’ court appearance and this time he was confronted by a group at his home. He admitted trying to get children to engage in sexual activities and other grooming related offences.

Judge Paul Thomas said: ‘You have shown you are an individual with a disturbing attitude towards sex and you have an unhealthy and dangerous approach to young girls.’

Griffiths was sentenced to 18 months in prison, made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years, and made to sign the sex offenders register for the same period.
