Middlesbrough woman admits making sickening child abuse images
A Middlesbrough woman has admitted making sickening child abuse images.
Fiona Bond was found to have the indecent images stored on an app and had downloaded the content in the days leading up to January 26, this year.
The 41-year-old appeared at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday and pleaded guilty to making indecent images.
Ansab Shan, prosecuting, told the court that indecent images were found in her possession, all of which were in category A, the most serious category.
He added that some children depicted in the images were “as young as six-months old”.
They were found within an app named “Mega” on one of Bond’s devices.
Due to the severity of the offence, the case was transferred to Teesside Crown Court for sentencing.
The date of the sentencing is yet to be confirmed.
Bond, of Crossfields, Coulby Newham, was given unconditional bail until her next appearance.
