Sex beast teenager who raped schoolgirl caught after giving her an STI
Teenager Steven Taylor has been jailed after he raped a schoolgirl.
The 18-year-old forced himself on his young victim – leaving her with a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
The girl complained of itching and pain around her private parts and she was taken to the doctor, who diagnosed she had genital herpes.
The police were informed and the victim told officers how the defendant had pinned her down and raped her.
Now Taylor has been sentenced to five years detention in a young offender institution.
Prosecutor Nick Tatlow told Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court the rape was committed in April. He said the victim began to complain of itching around her private parts. She continued to complain and saw a doctor.
Mr Tatlow said: “She became withdrawn and tearful. She was examined by the doctor, who found she had genital herpes, which he had never seen before in someone so young.
“She was asked if someone had touched her and she told the doctor the defendant had.”
The girl was interviewed by the police later that day and she said the rape had taken place about five days earlier.
Mr Tatlow added: “She said the defendant had pinned her down and raped her.”
Taylor, of Westminster Road, Leek, pleaded guilty to rape of a child under 13.
Taylor was made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years and was placed on the sex offenders’ register for life.
Judge David Fletcher said: “You have committed an extremely serious offence, an offence committed against a child under the age of 13. She contracted an STI as a result of that.”
