Man exposed himself to children playing football in Gwynedd school playground

A man dropped his trousers and exposed himself to a group children playing football in a school playground.

Marius Sadaukas admitted exposing his buttocks during the incident near the playground of Ysgol Glan-y-Mor, Pwllheli, Gwynedd on July 5.

The 26-year-old Lithuanian, of Potts Street, Pwllheli, also admitted a charge of exposure during the same incident.

After hearing from both prosecution and defence solicitors magistrates at Caernarfon decided the matter was so serious a pre-sentence report is required.

Bench chairman Janet Owen said: “These are very serious matters with several aggravating factors. To assist the sentence we are ordering an all-options report.”

Diane Williams, prosecuting, said Sadaukas and a friend had asked to join in a game of football in the school playground.

“A group of school children were playing and they refused. The defendant was then said to have exposed himself to the children.

“He then turned around and dropped his trousers and bared his bottom.”

Teachers at the school were told what had happened and police were alerted.

“A teacher at the school came out of the building and saw the two men walking towards the town centre. She could see the defendant urinating in the street,” added Ms Williams.

Sadaukas was later arrested and interviewed.

He told officers the children had verbally abused him but he accepted he had exposed himself.

Sentence was adjourned until August 20 and Sadaukas was granted bail.
