A FAIRLIE man has admitted stalking a woman over a period of 10 years.
Craig Maclean, 36, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court where he pleaded guilty to four charges involving three women going back to 2007.
Maclean admitted, that between 2007 and 2010, in Largs he did wolf whistle, remark on the appearance of a woman, stare at her, stare at her place of work and film or photograph her without consent.
He also admitted that, between 2010 and 2017, he did stand behind the same woman, stare at her, breathe on her, stare at her work and film or photograph her.
One other charge of stalking was admitted that in 2012 he repeatedly called a woman’s name, persistently follow her and attended at her home uninvited.
The fourth charge he admitted was that he did, between March 2015 and March 2016, intentionally and for the purposes of obtaining sexual gratification or of humiliating, distressing or alarming another woman, he sent sexual written communications to her without her consent.
Maclean, who is now living in New Street in Stevenston, was placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register and bailed pending sentencing next month.
