Porthleven man admits child rape and other sexual offences
A young man has been remanded in custody after pleading guilty to a catalogue of sexual offences against young girls.
Tyler Munday, 21, of Mounts Bay Terrace in Porthleven, entered the dock at Truro Crown Court on Friday (July 5) and entered a total of 12 guilty pleas to the charges as they were put to him by a court clerk.
He admitted two counts of rape, three sexual activity with a child under 13 charges and seven instances of sexual activity with a child under 16.
The crimes span from 2011 to 2018.
The case has now been adjourned for the creation of reports examining the triggers behind Munday’s offending.
He was remanded in custody and will reappear at the court for sentence on September 6.
