Teenager guilty of abusing 14 year old girl

A teenager has walked free from court after pleading guilty to sexual offences against a female child.

Barman Tyreek Neilly, 18 of New Mossley, Belfast appeared at Belfast Crown Court after he was accused of:

– Two counts of rape against a female child aged under 16

– Two counts of sexual assault against a female child aged under 16

The court was told that in 2016, Neilly had met up with the 14 year old victim and molested the girl against her wishes.

The girl made it clear throughout the ordeal that she wanted him to stop, but the victim stated that the abuse escalated to oral rape, and then full rape.

Neilly admitted he sexually assaulted the girl

Since the attack, the victim has suffered several violent attacks as a direct result of Neilly spreading rumours and lies to friends about what happened on the night of the rape.

Earlier this month, the judge handed Neilly a two year suspended sentence and told him to complete 50 hours of community service
