Sex offender Craig Thomson set to leave Hearts this week

CHILD sex pervert Craig Thomson will finally get the boot from Hearts next week before the January transfer window ends.

The 20-year-old defender is to sign for Lithuanian team FBK Kaunas, who he was on loan to last year.

Hearts refused to sack Thomson despite him being convicted last year of preying on girls aged 12 and 14 and being put on the sex offenders’ register.

He asked the girls to be his friends on Facebook then sent one an obscene picture.

Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov is the majority shareholder at Kaunas and sent Thomson to play for them.

A source said: “The vast majority of Hearts fans will be delighted to see the back of this creep.

“He was on loan until their season finished in November and apparently hated every minute of it.

“But they’re about the only club who’ll go near him.”

Last month the player sneaked back to his home in Bonnyrigg
